After graduating from university with a bachelor of design, I struggled to find a job in the field, and I began working both as a bartender and in sales for a French hospitality company called ‘Fauchon by Horeto’. This role first exposed me to hospitality operations, as well as sales and marketing.
In 2013, I decided to travel to Australia with a desire and passion to develop my skills in the hospitality industry. It was one of the best decisions I've made!
I discovered Top Shelf Recruitment, formerly BENCHMARQUE, as a casual event staff member which led me to develop valuable skills, (and language!) + knowledge of a range of venues and most importantly, the expectations of the growing industry here in Australia.
I recently graduated with an advanced diploma in Hospitality Management at Kenvale College. At Top Shelf Recruitment, I am involved in the administration and resourcing process for our restaurant venue partners. Now exposed to both sides of our operations, I also really enjoy being on the front line from time to time to ensure I can feedback first hand how our employees work within our event teams and provide any ongoing development in real time for our clients.
