I ended up in hospitality by accident, starting as a function waitress over 25 years ago when I was studying acting. I soon realised my passion lay with F & B and customer service, and hospitality became my life's work. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else to make a living!
I cut my teeth as an Assistant Manager for Rockpool Dining and was inspired by the training, camaraderie, passion for Australian quality ingredients and mentorship provided. I formed lasting friendships and since then have endeavoured to inspire a generation of future hospitality workers to embrace a service mentality and be proud of our profession.
I have managed fine dining restaurants, pubs, cafes and worked extensively in events and event planning. I owned a fabulous cocktail bar called Mars Lounge for 6 years, and an intimate neighbourhood Italian restaurant, Vicini.
I am a proud and passionate Sydneysider, a massive fan of Aussie restaurants and try to eat out as much as I can! I have a huge appreciation for wines, and cooking is my favourite way to relax. I am happiest reclining in the sunshine on a beautiful beach. My travel bug has been dampened by Covid 19, but I have taken the opportunity to explore many gorgeous places in NSW and the rest of Australia.
After working Front of House for most of my career, I transitioned to a Recruitment, Development and Training role for another agency. I am incredibly excited to lead the Top Shelf Recruitment team, and to nurture the business to greater success.
